This thing we call “life” is such a simple, yet complex, thing. As people, we all experience desires, emotions, and trauma in our lives, while at the same time these desires, emotions, and trauma can be drastically different. Our journeys start as souls that come into the world, then develop an ego which then evolves over time. This is the journey of “becoming” that we all experience. It has happened for millennia prior to our existence, and will continue happening long after we are gone.
Each individual journey represents our awakened consciousness. We are aware of our daily lives, the rhythm of our feelings and reactions. With each situation we encounter, we are constantly changing, becoming some of one thing but less of another at the same time. But, while we are on individual journeys, we also run into the journeys of the people around us. As a population, we share some of the same feelings and events. This constant interaction links us all together.
As we travel on our journey, we gain samskaras, or mental impressions left by feelings, thoughts, actions, or intentions that leave a psychological imprint. Depending on our friendships, families, and the environment we live in, some of us have learned healthy patterns for handling emotions, growing relationships, and interacting in social settings. For others, deep traumas can affect the journey of growth. The accumulation of these hurts weighs on us, and often we don’t know how to ease the pain or break the pattern that feels like it has been with us for forever or even lifetimes. These traumas can even cause reactions like PTSD/CPTSD, chronic anxiety, or depression.
What if you could learn how to break old patterns, understand who you really are, and identify how to work with the energy around your life to evolve? What if you could learn from pain and suffering, but keep it from controlling your present happiness and well-being?
